lmjacques Posted December 10, 2008 Share Posted December 10, 2008 First off I would have the background colour of the header matching my logo, just looks more streamline. Consider changing the Categories Menu so that it is more in your face and that is the second thing you notice after the products on your index page. Clean up your left & right column removing any options you don't need. i.e. Languages. On the index page your What New Product box in the middle of the screen has lost it's heading, not makes the site look half done to be honest mate. You neet to change your colours. Do this via the stylesheet in your catalog folder. Change the buttons. There are loads in the contribution section, take a look. Failing that do a google search for oscommerce buttons. Add a thumbnail contribution. Loads in the contribution section. Remove all the cartoon images, unless you like them. Search the forums to find out how. You need to add meta tag info. Remove "This product was added to our catalog on" from your product info pages. As a customer i dont care when you stocked this item. Dump the date of birth from the create account page, and possibly the gender. You have no SSL yet, i hope you are going to do so. Header image is unreadable you have "TEXT MAIN" on your front page. All your infomation pages are empty. Put something in them. Remove un necessary boxes from the right hand column. Remove the count in the footer. Make your product descriptions better. There is nowhere near enough info there to pursuade me to buy anything. There that will keep you going for at least a day or two.
