Wrong product price and recommandation email doesn't arrive

Hello,

 

I have 2 problems with osCommerce 2.2:

 

1. After reloading a product image the product price is wrong. I deleted the product and inserted the same product, the price is still wrong.

 

2. The tell a friend email does NOT arrive. The order email is OK.

 

 

Can it be that 2.2 is not stable enough and produces such kind of errors?

 

Please help.

Could it be that you have the taxes still enabled in application_top.php?

2.2 is very stable, it is however still being developed and there are occassional bugs. Could it be the operator isn't stable enough to be using OSC?

one way to test this is make your price $1 then see what it adds...

 

then go look at your tax settings

 

see if it's the same

 

if it is

 

goto the app_top

 

and look for this

 

 

define('DISPLAY_PRICE_WITH_TAX', true); // Display prices with tax (true) or without tax (false)

perhaps I found the reason why this price thing didn't work originally, but I'm not sure.

 

Previously I used the catalog in English language and entered the product. Now I used it in German language, deleted the product, entered it again and the price is correct.

 

Can it be that I as a German shop have to use the catalog in German language or can I use it also in English language? Can it be that this was the error? I doubt it.
