easy populate - how to export category id's and not names

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know where I would start editing easy populate in order for it to export category id numbers instead of the category names in a .csv file. I know doing this manually using find and replace in excel could be done but with over 30,000 categories it would take me ages.

Thanks in advance

// The following setup will allow you to define any additional

// field into the "products" and "products_description" tables

// in your shop. If you have installed a custom contribution

// that adds fields to these tables you may simply and easily add

// them to the EasyPopulate system.

Getting data from the product-category table is not in EP but read the documentation it does give a pointer. You could try "duplicating" the code for product extra fields.
