In a Liveshop no "new order email"

Hey

 

I have a liveshop up running. I?m using a snapshop from midt-august 2002.

 

When a customer add a new order i don?t get a confirm email and I would like that !!

 

When I create a new account I get a email, so the send email funktion works. But what is then wrong?

 

If you need any details to answer this Q - just let me know.

 

My emails setting in the admin part is:

-Mail Options

 

Title -----------------------/ Value

E-Mail Transport Method - sendmail

E-Mail Linefeeds - LF

Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails - false

Verfiy E-Mail Addresses Through DNS - false

Send E-Mails - true

yes....but I think it is a problem with sendemail funkction i php at my internet prowider!

Is the email address you list a valid address. This may seem like an obvious question, but oscommerce has its own smtp server which sends mail regardless of the existance of a valid email address:

 

ex: I have www.iroomservice.com setup with oscommerce. I do not have the email setup yet on the mail server for the domain iroomservice.com. I still setup oscommerce with the email address of [email protected] anyway. It sends the emails to the customers, but won't send the emails to [email protected] because it doesn't exist. you have to have a valid email address to send to.

 

Hope I haven't gone on and on.
