Error after shifting installed osc into main root

Hi,

 

I installed osc in /root/catalog. (meaning www.mydomain.com/catalog) It works ok. After that I needed to make the osc open in root..meaning, it will open at www.mydomain.com. I shifted the files into the main domain and later on, I just changed the configure file to change all the /catalog path to / . Now I login to /admin, (I can see the login screen) and click on Catalog, Ican't see the website..IE says The website cannot display the page. In Firefox, it's an empty page. Can I know what's the reason? I think the problem isn't lies with my configure file right? since I can see the full osc store and the admin login page.

 

could it be the host upgraded the mysql server version?
