Add log in to non-osc page?

Hi,

 

I don't know if I really need this, but I'm creating a stand-alone home page for my client. He would like a log-in box on the hom page so that customers can go right from the home page to the online catalog and be looged in.

 

Is it possible to create such a log in area on a page that is not part of the osCommerce store?

Try adding

 

  require('includes/application_top.php');

 

to the top of the page but before that add a chdir so that it can find the file.
