How to remove postal code?

Can someone please tell me how to remove the post code from the create accounts page?

Just out of curiosity, why just the zip code?

Well actually its the Post Code and the State/Province. I live in New Zealand and the store, which will be used on an Intranet, will only be needed for the company offices in Australia and New Zealand.

 

And because the customers are already know there is no need for the above fields.

 

Hope that anwsers your question. Can you advise me how to remove these fields?

Actually - No - I havent managed to remove the postal code.

 

Heres a small list of the textfields I want to remove

• Postal Code
  State/ Province
  Newsletter

There isn't a simple way to do it. These fields aren't just displayed, they're used by the application. You would have to go through a dozen or more files and either comment out what you don't need or rewrite it so you won't screw something up in another part of the program. Go to the Contributions section and download "Account Signup Management" and "United States Format". These contributions deal with that area. Maybe they'll help you figure it out.
