Product Images only uploading as thumbs

The site was working fine until the other day, when it decided to start saving the product images only as thumbs. The image filesizes are only about 2kb and the enlargment looks all kinds of pixelated and the watermark is not there.

 

I have the very latest OsCommerce installed and modified with quite a few mods. The only ones that should matter for this issue is the "Customer Add Product 1.4.2" and "Crimages 1.1"

 

I have uploaded fresh copies of:

account_add.php

includes/application_top.php

includes/admin_general.php

includes/functions/product_manage.php

includes/classes/upload.php

includes/classes/product_manage.php

 

but that did not fix it. Where else should I be looking?
