Password Protect a category in oscommerce

Hi,

 

I have searched the forum for any add ons or help on trying to password protect a category folder in oscommerce.

 

I have two categories in a store 1)...Public and 2)....Private of which I need to limit access to "Private" folder by password prtecting this area.

 

I have tried password protecting the dynamic url path on the category "Private" folder but keep getting an error in both categories.

 

I have tried a redirection on the "Private" folder to a password protected folder of which diid not work as all scripts are dependent on each other for snooth running and viewing of shop.

 

I would be grateful for any suggestions or even if someone knows of an add on that may do this.
