Editing admin header to display more than username...

Recommended Posts

I hope somebody can help me. I've added a field to the administrators table "level". I am going to use this field to set different levels of access for administrators. Can somebody please tell me where the $admin['username'] field is coming from in the header.php file within the admin/includes folder? (Obviously it is from the admin table and relates to the username field but I mean which include file sets the recordset up) I have trawled through all the includes classes and functions but cannot seem to find a recordset for admin. Once I find it I can then use the same code but replace it with $admin['level'] so that I can control access to my admin area. I have looked at the 2 contributions that give varying levels of access but they are not for the latest release of osc.

Thank you.
