Email Issue

Hi guys,

 

I've been having an issue with the email in OSC. Any email sent to anything@mydomain doesn't seem to be sent properly. If I send email to anything@anotherdomain it works fine. If I try to send email to anything@myotherdomain (which is hosted on the same server) nothing comes through, either.

 

I found in these forums someone suggested to disable the email services for my domain, but this didn't seem to help the problem at all.

 

If anyone has any ideas, or even a point in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

You can try to log into your hosts control panel and try send and email from Horde or similar type program. It will give you an idea if the block is in osC or the server.

 

You can also try ping your mail server from your desktop and see if it can find it. From the command prompt try entering;

 

ping mail.mydomain.com
