Dayclone
First question: I am an automotive parts retailer and lets say I have headlights listed on my site. But they don't come with the bulbs needed to operate the headlights. So is there in the product info page I can make something related to the headlight? or a field or a dropdown option to add the bulbs for an additional $$$ so and so. Let me know please. Second Qeustion: In my featured products page my images are blown up! like its enlarged! Is there any modules or scripts that I can implement that will resize those pictures but when the customer goes into the product info page and clicks on "enlarge image" it will be the normal blown up one? Thanks in advance!
donnirai
Yes you can add bulbs to your attributes in Catelog > Products Attributes > So add headlights to the product options first Then go to Option Values click on headlights, then add the different versions of the headlights here. Once your products are added you can on that same page in that third window at bottom actually called Products Attributes, you can select the products there and add to it what version. Now this is the key to setting the different prices: Set the regular price when you add the product then where you see the value price and prefix add how many dollars more it cost and keep that plus sign there to mean more or a minus for less. You'll get the hang but at least you don't have to change the codes. Just the attributes under catalog category. Good luck Also experiment with 'Images' link under Configuration to resize the pop up Donni Rai
