At the moment, in addition to the categories that products go into you can use the 'manufacturers' module to allow a different drill down method. I want to be able to duplicate or add an extra couple of manufacturers modules so that the products can be allocated by more than 1 other type e.g. Manufacturer Product Type Another Product Attribute and so on. The only contribution I've seen which seems to come close is Manufacturers2 however this seems to have very little support and is apparently quite buggy.
