chakotay2 Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 I know this is bundled with godaddy's webhosting, but how well does it work with godaddy? one of the other bundles software forums say that although their product is bundled, that it doesn't work with godaddy well and blames godaddy for having poor hosting... does anyone use osCommerce with a godaddy site that can provide some feedback? Jack_mcs Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 It works with godaddy but there are a few situations where the code has to be altered to get it to work, like with some of the payment modules. You have to be sure to have them place you on a Linux server since they put you Windows by default. There are some other small issues, like them using an older version of phpmyadmin but once everything is worked through, the shop will run on their server.
