Guest
Does anyone have an experience with using this software OsCommerce Product Manager? Are there any security issues with it considering we need to enter login details to connect to database. It's an application to manage the products of your OsCommerce virtual store from your desktop computer. http://www.download.com/OsCommerce-Product...html#userreview

jsalis
I have done some initial testing on this product. Pros: It is very fast. It has excellent compression for the transfers between the server and client, which is very important, because it is constantly updating in very near real time. I really like the drag and drop feature. Cons: Does not support linking items to multiple categories, only copying to multiple categories. Copying and pasting records can only be done one at a time, while drag and drop can be performed to lots of records at once. Other thoughts: The best free tool I have seen with these sort of features yet, but not so good that I have concluded my search. I run a completely customized osC2.2 RC1 shop with mostly custom modifications that replicate the features of many contributions available except in a way that the data is more easily synced with Quickbooks on a continuous basis.
