lowkey704 Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 HEY ALL, I have the UPS Module which is cool but I am thinking there are issues I am facing. I want to be able to offer "Free Shipping" on certain items - I made the weight "0" in the product edit area but when you go to checkout UPS is still there with a ground charge. I also have other items that I force a Flat Rate / Freight Charge by Product Attributes. Is there any way in the Categories / Products area of the admin that you could have a Radio Button to tell oscommerce that an item has Free Shipping or That it has Shipping Included so that the customer bypasses the UPS Module? You see my fear is that when someone gets to check out they are going to be overwhelmed by all the shipping options. I just wished there was a way that 1. When an Item has "Free Shipping" it would bypass the Shipping Module period. 2. If an item has a Product Attribute that forces Flat Rate Shipping / Silver Service Delivery it would also bypass the Shipping Module. Does this make any sense?
