When I click product listing get page formatting SNAFU

When I click the bread crumb to go to the main page everything looks correct - Top says "What's New" and image to the right of that displays. When I click on one of my categories on the left side, all of the pages that come up display a different heading and the image to the right of that heading doesn't display.

 

Also when I change the text in catalog/includes/languages/english/index.php it does change the text on the categories pages but there is a weird rollover of text from that edit into the table heading below. Like where it should say "Model" it now says what the image name should be, etc...

 

Can anyone tell me all the different pages I should be looking through to track down this problem?

Yes I checked those files, but the text I am looking to change isn't there.

 

From the /includes/languages/english/index.php

define('HEADING_TITLE', 'Let\'s See What We Have Here');

define('TABLE_HEADING_IMAGE', '/images/table_background_default.gif');

define('TABLE_HEADING_MODEL', 'Model');

define('TABLE_HEADING_PRODUCTS', 'Product Name');

 

this is the page that isn't displaying the image plus it is wrong table header info ie where it should say "Model" it now says /images/table_background_default.gif on the generated page.

But Product Name as a header shows correctly so this is somewhere between the HEADING_TITLE and TABLE_HEADING_PRODUCTS? Just don't know which page to check and it wasn't in product_listing

When I click the breadcrumb to goto TOP the main index page displays correctly with the image showing but the text is different from HEADING_TITLE in the ..../english/index.php - Instead of saying Let's See What We Have Here it says Whats New....... I can't find the text Whats New in any of the files I have gone through. Is it in the database?

Hoping my question makes sense, but I keep going in circles looking for this problem. Did I delete something from the the secondary page that comes up when I click on a category that I shouldn't have?

You don`t change your language files to alter the picture, language files are for text only.

 

To change pictures, alter the contents of catalog/images
