olsonsp4c
This is the support forum for the addon Live Support phpOnline: http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/5795 This is a fully featured and FREE Live Support software for your osC installation. It allows multiple administrative users, client side themes, and a slick admin interface. It is integrated into the catalog as an infobox and integrated into the osC admin as a clickable header graphic. Both the catalog and admin operate through javascript popups. All credit goes to Dayana Networks Ltd. who created this fabulous software. I just modified it to suit osC (they had even done the footwork for creating an infobox!). This package includes the latest version of the phpOnline live chat software (2.1.3) Official Website: http://phponline.dayanahost.com Online Forums: http://www.dayanahost.com/forum Powered by http://www.dayanahost.com Scott Quote Addons I've crafted: osC reCaptcha | Live Support phpOnline | Store Mode | Simple Categories Header | Authorize.Net Infobox Package Tracking Plus | USPS Flat Rate Shipping | USPS Shipping Insurance | RapidSSL Infobox

Everything works for me great. Do you think I should reinstall again the last version you uploaded date 19 Nov 2008 ? Or there are some little changes for a few files, that I can modify them one by one ? Best Regards, Nathali Quote Best Regards, Nathali

kinnikinnikbear
Hello Scott! This live support mod works beautifully! Thanks for the contribution! Even managed to match the client chat box to my website with photoshop! I'm using the status indicater 1= flash based in my info box at the moment. I would prefer to use the image based indicator, but cannot get the offline/online jpgs to show. Instead, I getting the "no Image".jpg when I change the status indicator to "2" in the live_support.php. I've checked- the jpgs are uploaded to the image folder... in fact the same folder the "no image.jpg" is pulling from ......I'm missing something here??? Thanks for any advice! Scott Thanks for your help Scott. I do have the online/offline jpgs uploaded to my phponline/images folder. When I check the properties of the missing jpg. it's being pulled from the "images folder. I've tried loading the pictures into "/images folder and also "phponline/images. Neither works. The image is pulled from the statusimage.php correct? The image is pulled from the statusimage.php correct? Well, I must have a conflict somewhere. I renamed the online.jpg in my phponline/images folder as no_image.jpg. Doesn't show. Then I placed the renamed image in my "/images folder and it shows in my live support info box. Doesn't signal online/offline status of course, but it shows. Still not correct... kinnikinnikbear
Scott, I think the conflict I'm having with the status 2 setting in live support.php and the status image is with the On_the_fly Auto Thumbnailer 2.4 mod I have installed. I believe I read on the dayana phponline forum that someone had an issue with this at one time, but thought it was fixed in a later version. But the "no_image.jpg" that appears in the live support info box ( when set to status 2 in livesupport.php) is the default image with the on_the_fly thumbnailer mod. And it's being pulled from my "/images folder instead of my "phponline/images folder as it should. Until I figure out how to correct that I'm sticking with the status 1 flash image setting that works beautifully. I read recently that customers are more likely to use a live chat system than use a 800 toll free line you might have listed on your site. So, thanks again for the contribution and support thread. ♥jailaxmi
Hello, I installed this add-on (which is great, by the way) and was having problems with the javascript in my admin panel, so I removed that aspect of it. It was adding code to my configuration, so naow I just open a new browser window for my admin.php and can assist customers from there. Works for me... Anyway, I added the https stuff and javascript on the client.php file. Everything works great, but the client pop-up window does not say https://ayurvedayogashop.com/live_support/client.php, as I assumed it would. It is a regular http://... instead. Anything I missed there? Thanks, Yol Edited November 29, 2008 by jailaxmi Quote I repeat myself when under stress, I repeat myself when under stress, I repeat myself... --King Crimson (“Discipline”)

Basically all the http:// became https:// there, so there were 3 links changed in that file. Marios, i'm not familiar with that addon - my guess is that your going to have to mod the infobox to pull from the correct directory, the one specified in the install doc for additonal images, but it is just a guess.
