Gotham Marketing
Hope someone can help answer this question. I'm preparing to change from from one host to another and have opened an account at the new provider. I have my OSC install up and running, but the install is on a "temporary" domain that looks like this: http://xx.xxx.xxx.xx/~mydomain/osc When I finally "flip the switch" and change the DNS servers to point to the new host, the above syntax will change and the IP/~mydomain will drop off in favor of the full domain name. I'm pretty sure that'll "break" some of the paths and disable the installation. What do I have to change in the OSC config to accommodate the change? Thanks in advance! Gotham Marketing
http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=193738 This post should help Thanks! So, if I'm understanding this, it's only the config.php files that I need to edit. Any reason why I couldn't just do a search-and-replace using for the 'find' the old IP based URL and replacing it with the actual /mydomainname.com?
