Phyxi0n
Okay.. I have the Multiple Products Manager Plugin, and Easypopulate. Well, I uploaded a little over 200 items from one manufacturing, and somehow during my upload, I messed up the titles and descriptions. So when I uploaded all my items and put them in a certain location based on what the title said, turns out all the descriptions are wrong, and I need to delete all of those items and just re-upload them. It would be easier that way. Even with the multiple products manager, I dont see a fast method. I can import alotta items, but can't delete items that way? I need to know if there is a quicker way to delete all of these items instead of going into each category (probably 30+) and deleting the products one by one. Anyone ran into an issue like this? Dang i'm mad! Ugh.
♥geoffreywalton
Export your product file using EP and store a copy somewhere. Delete one good product using the shop admin area and then reimport the file. Does the deleted product reappear? If yes, then using the shop admin area delete the top level categories and all lo and behold all the categories and products in them are deleted too. Now you have an empty product file. Edit the EP file and delete any records you do not want and import the file using EP. Won't deleting everything in the store make me have to re-upload all of the images, and re-create all of the folder structure and everything? I'm not completely dumb, but your response didn't make it very clear on how I was deleting all of the products without it sounding like it may also delete all of the categories and folder structure i've built. BUMP: Can anyone help me with this? Will this work? If I export everything, and delete all my categories, will it rebuild them if I re-upload my Easypopulate export? Thanks.
