ABCommerce!
Ultimate SEO URL's is good and also header tags but you also need to take the time to ensure that you are entering the titles, descriptions and keywords correctly. Search the internet and you will find lots of good resources to help teach you what is best to put in there.

Either will do, however it's important to note that Google no longer requires 'Search Engine Friendly URL's' as they once did. It used to be that Google would even ignore a URL if it wasn't in .html or contained a '?'. They can now read almost all URL's. However (yes their are 2 however's to this post) if you're planning on getting your complete range of products listed high up eg "blue widgets", "yellow widgets" etc. then go with it as I do, it will do no harm and may even help you with getting those less competetive product search terms higher up the rankings. Google still has trouble spidering 3 or 4 parameters in the URL (I read that in a popular SEO book that was dated August 2008), so I think it's still a good Idea to use Ultimate SEO URLs. That's just so that the search engines can *find* your pages. Also, having descriptive words in the URL can help your *placement* in the search engine results. Pages with keywords in the URL are given higher ranking than pages with "&productid=123". Again, the Ultimate SEO URLs contrib will help with that. The Header Tags SEO, is entirely different. It doesn't deal with the URL, just with the "title," "description," and "keywords" header tags. The title tag is extremely important for SEO, and the description tag is pretty important too. Keyword tags are almost ignored these days, but it doesn't hurt to have them there. Just my 2 cents :-)
