Also, I have products that qualify for salestax exemption for certain uses - for which a (taxable) customer would NOT pay sales tax. I tried to apply a contribution that I located on this site, "NO TAX FOR VERIFIED MERCHANT", which advertises to do the deed. However - no joy. I think there is a problem in the directions, as script to be (ammended) in the /customers file is repeated twice in the directions. It seems to me that some script is required in the /create_account.php page in order to construct the "Wholesaler" checkbox, but none is given. Guest Posted November 12, 2008 Share Posted November 12, 2008 OH! now I get it. The isWholesale box comes up in the administration customer box! So the administrator selects the box - NOT the customer. Since I fixed my PHP compatibility problem with the (array) script in the admin/customers.php page - I was finally able to observe this phenomenon, since with the PHP5 incompatability, I could not access the edit customer page. The information on the *no tax for verified merchant* Contribution could be more complete. - ANYWAY - JOY! This is a great forum in which to talk to yourself. Thanks for being here. I run a completely customized osC2.2 RC1 shop with mostly custom modifications that replicate the features of many contributions available except in a way that the data is more easily synced with Quickbooks on a continuous basis.
