Hello all,

I'm completely new to OSCommerce but I'm having to learn very fast as our web developer has mysteriously disappeared and we're due to launch the site at the end of the month.

Amongst many other things, I've been trying to add an "About us" link and additional page to the footer, so I followed instructions found in another thread to the best of my ability, but it hasn't quite worked.

I've managed to add the link, but the page it links to doesn't display how I'd like it to.

The 'breadcrumb' navigation text is displaying "NAVBAR_TITLE", where it should be displaying "About Duke of Uke", the page title is displaying "HEADING_TITLE" where I would like it also to be displaying "About Duke of Uke". Also there's some text in the top left corner reading "Parse error..."?

And none of the content text is displayed...?

Can anyone see where I've gone wrong? If anyone thinks they can help, please take a look at the following link to the page:

http://www.dukeofuke.co.uk/about_duke.php

I'd be extremely grateful for any advice anyone can give, or if anyone can point me in the right direction to some help in the knowledge base.

Thanks,

Matthew

Looks like you may have already gotten it but for future use, if ever you are getting weird something_something where your text should show up, it is usually a language file issue.

Hi Rebecca, thanks so much for taking the time to respond to my post. It was an issue with apostrophes in the text, but I managed to work it out using a \ before every '. Seems to have worked.

Cheers,

Matthew
