How to change the alignment of the thumbnails in the Product listing?

Hello,

 

I added a short description to my product listing and now the rows are a lot higher than standard. Now I want the images in the first column to be aligned at the top of the row. Currently, they are always centered vertically. Is there any way to do this?

 

Also, does anybody know how I can make the table rows in the product listing to be alternating white and grey? I mean: First row grey, second white, third grey...

simply edit the product_infpo.php file to update the alignment of the thumbnails.
