tinynoble Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 Can someone point me in the right direction of what to look for. Most of my text is visible, but the quantity numbers behind the categories list, half of the descriptions on the product pages, and half of the "powered by" at the bottom are not visible. They are there, because if you left click and scroll over the area, they highlight. The colors in the css file are listed as not the same as the background color. It is almost as if there is a veil over part of it. <_<
FIMBLE Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 stylesheet.css is where you need to look Nic Sometimes you're the dog and sometimes the lamp post [/url] My Contributions
Guest Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 Hello mate im far from an expert on this but have had similiar problems - play around with the stylesheet.css some more to see if you can get it to change. Are you using STS templates or something like that? Because you can also set the background colours of the page and the boxes in this as well as in the css so there could be some conflict there. I was using dreamweaver and trying to change some of the STS templates but stupidly didnt realise that the default in dreamweaver was to attach a new css style to whatever text or colour i was changing instead of changing just the html - so in other words i was creating stylesheets that didnt exsist on the actual site. well that was my problem.
