manofkent Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 Hi People!! I am currently trying to Install an oscommerce store and so far I think I have done the right things! Never doing anything like this before I am now wondering what it is that I have not done? I have uploaded the catalog and extras folders to Public html. I have downloaded and uploaded Phpmyadmin to the same folder on the server! I now seem to be going around in circles reading the Information on how to configure the PHP can anyone help? I have very little knowlege in these areas and dont want to make a complete hash of it? Could someone shed a bit of light on the Installation and configuration? First off all.... you have to be sure that your web host support MySQL database... mine doing it... i checked my hosting plan... if you don't know.. call your host. After that, you have to configure your MySQL database (if you have administrator password of your website.. if not...ask your hoste)... and after.. you'll be perfect to continue the installation... with other litlle problems... ask me by email if you want... clalumiere@hotmail.com.
