As far as I am aware, TM templates are complete packages. That being the case, you would install it as you would a stock installation downloaded from here.

If you literally mean "how do I upload it", you need to get a good FTP client and connect to your server via that.

Sorry i was ranting at the TM people not you!

What are you having trouble with?

Have you uploaded the language to both

Catalog / includes / languages /

and

admin / includes / languages / ?

If so you nedd to enter it to the database, from Admin / localization /languages

Any good or is it better to go with TM?

I've no idea to be honest. I have repaired quite a few TM templates for people so even though they look great, I wouldn't necessarily recommend them for the less experienced. There lot's of TM affiliates but I've not looked at algozone.com so not sure about them. I will look now.

There's absolutely no point in going for an RC1 template.

I just looked at a couple from algozone and they are definitely not TM affiliate templates. They look very professional and just from the source, look better than TM. Given a choice, I would go for algozone.

So you are saying that templates from TemplateMonster are not appliable to the existing installation of OsCommerce which is not purchased from them ?

I was looking at that option and as I have already OsCommerce installation I can not go with new installation, just design.

If this is not possible, then is it possible to export database from my existing installation and then import it into new templatemonster installation ?

If this is not possible either, is this templatemonster OsCommerce genuine or they recoded it ?

What are further possibilities if I want to implement better design , where to look for templates which will be appliable to existing installation?

Justin,

Yes, you can import your database into a new osCommerce site but it would be best done by comparing each table and merging in the changes.

An easier approach if you have an osCommerce site that you want to keep but just change the design to match that of the purchased template would be to use STSv4.5.8 to integrate the design into your existing shop. This insures you that you will not pick up any buggy code from the purchased template.

See the following step by step post on this subject.
