Template Installation Problems

Hi,

 

I purchased a membership from Ricky's Templates and I downloaded a template that I like; but I have no idea how I install the template. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's all .php so I would also like to know how I could edit it if I can; if it's possible or not. BTW I'm running Linux on the desktop.

Ricky has been no help at all. I don't have a catalog directory on my server through Lunarpages which is is how I installed OScommerce. Could someone pleaseeeeee help me out with step-by-step instructions.

Hi hi, I am new here. and have just installed osCommerce. Am facing th esame issue with you here. The documentation says to be able to change the website design template via Catalog, but I see no Catalog that allows me to do so. Only the one that allows me to manage the online products and stuffs.

"Ricky" appears to be a Template Monster reseller. Go to Template Monster and ask them for advice.

 

My advice would be for you to use the template you purchased along with STS (Simple Template System) - at least then you get to know a little bit about how osCommerce hangs together.

 

yea... i was looking thru the forum this afternoon. and guess i wasn't looking hard and careful enuff. I saw the advice about STS and was looking for it. Now I found it. hehehehe... Thankx for your replies. :) I will come back to you again should I have any questions :)
