Sawtooth500 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Yeah, so idiot me in phpMyAdmin deleted the index for products_name in table products_description. I went ahead and I re-created the index in phpMyAdmin, but I really have no clue what it is used for and we already have a bunch of products in the cart. So if someone could please tell me what it is used for and if I am safe or what I have to do to make it better it would be much appreciated - and if I could please know what may stop functioning if it is used improperly that would be great too. Everything seems to be functioning normally, however well I'm posting this just to be safe. Thanks for the help. Also, while we're at it, I need help with an SQL query - I need the php code to send a query to table products_description where it returns the name of a product with a certain product_id that I send in the query. Thank you!
