extra fields...

Hi, as the title suggests i need to add 2 or 3 fields in the checkout process to gain some extra information from my customers and then i need it stored in the db so i can view it when the order is being processed.

 

I have spent the last part of 3 hours scouring the mods and i havent come across anything which is suitable, has anyone used a mod for this purpose...if so which one and if not can someone tell me how to add the extra fields i need?

If you want extra fields that are staic for the customer try

If you want fields for each order some tee shirt shops have contributions to accept text to be printed on the shirt. So keep searching the contributions.

To gain extra info why not add to create account page.

Thats a better option.

 

Else chek the code that is used for comments filed and apply plus add for the new fields.

Hi thanks for the reply but its extra information on the order which I need. It is for a florist online store and so i need a field for a message, plus other things.
