giraffix Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 I get a "Data Transfer Interrupted" error message when I click on "create an account", "log yourself in", "My Account" and "Checkout" The error message tells me that "The browser connected successfully, but the connection was interrupted while transferring information. Please try again." Does anyone know why it's doing this?
♥geoffreywalton Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 Have you removed an anti-virus program recently? Removing McAfee has been known to result in this behaviour. Apparently there is a removal tool to completely remove it. Another one is renameing a MS Home Server. Try googl on The browser connected successfully, but the connection was interrupted while transferring information. giraffix Posted November 1, 2008 Author Posted November 1, 2008 The error message today is different. Now it says, "Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to mysite.com. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. (Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)" The Mozilla webiste says, "This generally indicates that the remote peer system has a flawed implementation of SSL, and is violating the SSL specification." My store is hosted on a hostpapa server. Do you think it would be a problem on their end or mine?
giraffix Posted November 1, 2008 Author Posted November 1, 2008 Man, I'm an idiot. I need a Dedicated IP and an SSL Certificate from hostpapa before my store will work. I'm new to this stuff; but, I'm learning. :)
