Yes, I am obviously a newbie. I keep trying to set up a 'net' price as my wholesale price, but it automatically fills in a value in the gross price. Then, I decided that I should just enter the gross prices - and it automatically fills in the net price. I specifically have config file to NOT include taxes in prices. What in the world do these fields represent, and what am I supposed to enter? HELP

Net Price is price before tax . Gross Price is price with tax. If you're not applying tax, then both will always be the same. Fill in the net price field. The gross price is displayed in your store front.

Tax will be applied only in your assigned tax zone(s) upon customer checkout.

OK, so in the admin area you get to enter either the the price inc or ex taxes and the other field is populated for you.

Also in the admin area you can set it so the prices on your customer facing site either displays prices with or without taxes. I assume this is what you mean by config file.

Sounds like it is working fine. You just need to chose to enter you prices in one field and let osc work as per your config settings.

I see that the calculations are correct (6% for my state), however, when I click on an item for sale, it shows the gross price listing, rather than the net (prior to purchases). Then when I add the item to the cart and checkout, it shows the net price without any tax added. How can I set up the site to show the net price until the time of checkout, then at checkout show the net, the shipping added, the sales tax and then the subtotal after that?
