customer low stock warning

when someone goes to buy a product and they select more than what you have in stock can they get a message that says something like;

"insufficient stock select another quantity? or something like that which can be edited? just curious

Stock osc already does this by default. Go to Admin-->Configuration-->Stock. Ser

 

Check stock level = true

sutract stock = true

Allow Checkout = false

 

The message will show up in the shopping_cart.php page.

Do you know where I can edit the text that is displayed, I've tried looking in the language/english.php file as well as the index in the launguage directory but I can't seem to find where that text is generated from

You will find that text in /catalog/includes/languages/english/shopping_cart.php
