I'm confused, it started to show the configure.php warning message, the one where it says it can write to xxxxx/includes/configure.php

It started after I installed the requred fields addon mysql installation file.

So how can I reset that configure.php (have tried chagning permissions but no luck.

I don't want to uninstall the addon cause it's just what I'we been looking for.

Please help me.

Kind Regards folks...

Try permissions in this order until the warning disappears:

644

444

400

FTP usually doesn't work, use cPanel.

Be aware that permissions less than 644 make the file "read only".

Uninstalling the addon won't fix the problem.

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
