rickard_l Posted October 28, 2008 Share Posted October 28, 2008 I'm confused, it started to show the configure.php warning message, the one where it says it can write to xxxxx/includes/configure.php It started after I installed the requred fields addon mysql installation file. So how can I reset that configure.php (have tried chagning permissions but no luck. I don't want to uninstall the addon cause it's just what I'we been looking for. Please help me. germ Posted October 28, 2008 Share Posted October 28, 2008 Try permissions in this order until the warning disappears: 644 444 400 FTP usually doesn't work, use cPanel. Be aware that permissions less than 644 make the file "read only". Uninstalling the addon won't fix the problem. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
