Having db_configuration does not exist..

Hello guys,

 

I just created a ready-ebook store, done the all instructions. However, it gives me this error.. what shall I do?

 

1146 - Table 'cyprus_b.configuration' doesn't exist

 

select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration

When you say "done the all instructions" (sic), which instructions are you referring to?

 

Did you setup / import the database correctly?

Actually, there was no installation file to install it. I just uploaded it, I have change the configure.php 's and the others correctly. Changed about 10 times, to make sure that I am doing correctly. However, it kept me saying this error. I checked phpmyadmin, there is a database as I created, but there is nothing inside it.

When you upload the osCommerce package you should run the installation script which will be at:

http://www.YOURSITE.com/catalgo/install (or similar depending where you uploaded it to)

 

This will correctly set your configure.php files and also build the database

Yes mate, I know this, and I created many oscommerce websites using that way. However, this one is quite different. This is ready ebook template. I have done everything correctly.. probably I am missing a small detail... therefore it gives me this error; 1146 - Table 'cyprus_b.configuration' doesn't exist

you've already stated what the problem is yourself:

there is a database as I created, but there is nothing inside it

you need to setup the database - if you are using a template and they didn't give you the database file (normally a file ending .sql) contact their support for one.

Well , I have the same problem. After i have follow the installation step.

It says "The installation and configuration was successful!"

 

But when i click to "catalog" or "administration tools" , it give me the error message!
