mikeNL Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Hi, I get this message when I try to reach my admin.section: Warning: require(includes/languages/dutch.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/vhosts/leylant.com/httpdocs/catalog/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 157 Warning: require(includes/languages/dutch.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/vhosts/leylant.com/httpdocs/catalog/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 157 Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/languages/dutch.php' (include_path='.:.:') in /var/www/vhosts/leylant.com/httpdocs/catalog/admin/includes/application_top.php on line 157 What is wrong? And how do I fix it? At first everythin went well, I changed some things, uploaded, deleted what was in the shop by default. And now this... Mike
dmnalven Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Have you edited includes/languages/dutch.php? Have you checked to see if it is there? The easiest solution is to upload a fresh copy of the file and if you used the built-in file editor to manage it, don't. An incompatability with end-of-line characters has been the bane of many and a constant embarassment to those who wrote the utility. For ALL problems, please review this link first -> osCommerce Knowledge Base

I tried what you suggested, but it won't solve the problem, unfortunately. Any other ideas? Mike
dmnalven Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 "I changed some things" Only you know what you have changed. Doublecheck your installation refering to your local copy and try to remember what you have done. For ALL problems, please review this link first -> osCommerce Knowledge Base
mikeNL Posted October 26, 2008 Author Posted October 26, 2008 "I changed some things" Only you know what you have changed. Doublecheck your installation refering to your local copy and try to remember what you have done. Well, I didn't change any php-file. I uploaded the catalogfolder, followed the install-procedure and everything went well. After that I deleted the install at the server as I was told to do. Then I logged in at the admin (online) and changed some settings there. I also deleted the random images and items and created a folder for my own items. That was all I did! Mike
dmnalven Posted October 26, 2008 Posted October 26, 2008 Let's go back to the beginning. Doublecheck your required edits to the two configure.php files. For ALL problems, please review this link first -> osCommerce Knowledge Base
mikeNL Posted October 27, 2008 Author Posted October 27, 2008 Sorry, don't bother any more. I deleted the whole thing and started all over again. Now everything is fine and I am eager to go on and make it smashing shop! Thank you for your efforts, Mike
