Guest Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 (edited) Hi Guys I have a rather worrying problem regarding PayPal Website Payments Standard. We originally did some tests with PayPal during the initial development and everything went through fine. However we decided to use ePDQ (Barclays) as our main payment gateway one going live. We had some feedback from customers saying they would like the option to pay via PayPal. So we thought that switching it on would be fine. However when someone tries to pay with PayPal they just get re-directed to the PayPal homepage instead of the the PayPal payment page. Am I missing something really obvious here or is it possible that during the ePDQ integration, certain bits of code that are required for PayPal to function correctly could have been changed? I am keen to hear suggestions on how I can simply get PayPal working correctly to run along side ePDQ. Thanks Edited October 24, 2008 by Flannerz Quote

Except we haven't gone live with the site yet and we're using Paypal Standard & SecureTrading. As soon as someone confirms the checkout they're just taken to the PayPal homepage. Quote
Guest Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 I think we have found the problem on our site. We had changed the checkout_confirmation.php file in order for it to work correctly with ePDQ. I reckon that doing this has actually confused PayPal when it comes to checkout. We haven't fixed it yet but maybe you have also changed some details in this file? Quote
