bilbo8 Posted October 24, 2008 Share Posted October 24, 2008 When I open the reviews page in admin, there is nothing in the site page. It says no product reviews. Now, this is, I think putting people off. because sometimes it is my landing page and they are greeted with no products. If you want some product reviews log in to the catalog side and write a few of them. I logged in and went to review an item and pressed the review button which gave me a text box to write my review. I did this with 50 characters because it would not let me continue until I had and when and when to continue, a white screen came up next with 1062 _duplicate entry '2-1" for key 1 written on it. Guest Posted October 25, 2008 Share Posted October 25, 2008 As you don't have any reviews yet, you could empty the 2 tables reviews and reviews_description. Before you do anything make sure you backup your databse first. This is not an option. Log into phpmyadmin select the reviews table and click Empty. Make sure that only the reviews table is being emptied. Then select the reviews_description table and click Empty. After that try to write a new review. If you do not backup your database on a regular basis you could have problems. If you make a mistake somewhere along the way like deleting something from the database, then the only way to get it back is through the backup. Anytime you add new products, get new orders, get new customers or modify anything in the database always and I mean always make a backup. This is very important and not an option. Hi, thanks, I did that and there is a pink box that says error database backup does not exit. Please set this in configure php.
