OS Commerce in product catalog mode only

Hi everyone

 

I own a shop which sells electronic items and have decided to display them on the Internet for my clients.

 

 

I am new to OS Commerce and wonder how I can set it to display in catalogue mode.

 

I just need to display my products with their price and guide the local customers to my shop.

 

Any hints/help would be very much appreciated

Make sure the buy now icon is not displayed in the "product listing".

 

You could also set the allow checkout to false under the stock.

I agree with geoffreywalton that you should "make sure the buy now icon is not displayed in the product listing". As for me I use Product Catalog Builder. With its help I build catalogs by creating an entry for each product such as description, photos, price, additional details, and the program will do everything else. I like that this electronic catalog can be updated through the internet. Thus old customers will learn about new products and services immediately.
