andrewmedina Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 I'm curious as to what your recommendations are for a PCI compliant payment gateway? I'm in the USA, I sell high performance car parts (fewer orders but much higher dollar and profit purchases), and I'm looking for something i have a fair deal of control over but still possesses PCI compliance and the ability to process CC's, and I need to be able to get the money somewhat quickly if its for something that is made in house. I'm using the latest version of OSC as well, and my main bank account is through Security Service Credit Union. Quote
cleveland-jay Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Andrew, PCI is about far more than who your Gateway is. I would heartily suggest more research into this matter. Your gateway will, more than likely, use a secure encrypted connection with your OSC implementation, but a lot more needs to be put into the database, store server, etc. I'd suggest looking at someone like Packet General to secure your MySQL database. Then, double-check your firewall, etc. and put your policies and procedures into effect. That's more of what PCI is all about. -- Jay Quote
