Product Info "Add to Cart" not working

So, the issue is this: the Buy Now buttons on the index.php category lists work. The Add to Cart buttons in Product_info don't. I don't think its a sessions issue because the Buy Now buttons work (could easily be wrong!). Is it likely to be a product_info problem or a shopping cart problem. I have quite a few contributions installed which confuses things. If someone could help show me what the product_info add to cart button interacts with perhaps I can make it a bit clearer.

 

I have tried rolling back to a previous product_info version but that doesn't seem to make any difference. I know it is something fairly recent because I have tested products before that have worked fine!
