I don't need a shipping address or phone number. How can I either remove the registration process entirely or, at least, vastly reduce the amount of info a user is required to enter? I've watched the "who's online" screen as over $1000 worth of products has been put in the cart of one guest or another and then they are directed to the registration screen and they never return. If they're serious about buying this stuff, I want to set it so my store directs them to Paypal, they log in there and make their payment without having to provide a whole page-full of unnecessary and invasive information.

From what I understand, account creation is required. You can, however, reduce the amount of required information using this contrib. Good luck.
