how do people manage attributes

How do people manage attributes for products?

I installed easy populate which is great but only manages the price / description / qty etc of a product, but does not support product attributes management. I have a computer products site so some items like pc's have many attributes that need managing .

 

Is there a simple way to manage and upload attribute changes or do you have to do it manually via the web panel?

 

any suggestions to make it easier.

What does EP *NOT* do well?

 

So far, EP does not handle attributes well. When viewing product export, it

may be difficult to understand how it works. As such, I'do not recommend

that anyone use EP for managing attributes.

 

My set up seems to download every attribute in the system, but none are allocated to the product

I don't know why that statement is in there. Questions about a particular contribution should always be asked in that contributions support thread so I suggest you ask it there.
