Guest Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 I'm running osCommerce on my MS Vista system locally with WampServer (Apache 2.2.8, PHP 5.2.6, and MySQL 5.0.51b) which works OK except... If I use http://localhost/path-to-osc, although the site loads OK the cookie isn't created (/includes/configure.php has the correct localhost settings) however if I access the site using my IP address instead of http://localhost and set the IP in the configure.php file, the cookie is created? Any ideas?
Guest Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 In case anyone cares - I managed to sort this out. I created a fake domain name entry in my HOSTS file pointing to 127.0.0.1 and am using that, and it's all working fine now
