I know this is probably easy to solve but I cannot remember what I did. I have not had many customers. The last order the customer cancelled and it did not appear as cancelled in admin, so I did some changes and it changed to cancelled. This was back in July. Now people are ordering again but their orders are being cancelled by the compter and they are receiving e.mails to say they have been cancelled. How can I change it back??

Did you, in some way, make cancelled the default?

I checked that and, guess what, I had. I changed the default to pending but now even orders which the customer have cancelled appear as pending. Is there no way around this. How do I know if a cusomer has cancelled or not?

You could check each order that you are not sure of and see if the status has changed. I have never had a customer cancel, so any cancelled orders were done via my Admin. Have you received payment for the order?

No payment received. I suppose the only way around it is to check payments. I live in France and my website sells french food and sometimes the delivery costs put people off, therefore they cancel and it appears in my admin as order pending. Looks live my first port of call is paypal to check payments and then visit my website. Thanks for your help. At least it not cancelling my orders now.
