Big problems many errors! I dont know what too do . Can someone help me with this

Hi I am Jase and new at this forum.

Mine English is very bad i am from Holland but i try too write it good.

 

So i want too Install the web shop "Oscommerce" but when i want too install it gives a error :

FATAL ERROR: register_globals is disabled in php.ini, please enable it!

 

So i did call mine host and they told me i need too look on google and i need too make a php.ini file too turn the global settings on.

So i did i did make a file named: .htaccess

With this code in it:

php_flag register_globals on

 

And i did try install it again but this time it gives me an other error:

 

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

 

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

 

I just dont know how too fix this , I just want too install the webshop.

So how i fix this problem?

php_value register_globals on

 

The exact commands you can use vary from server to server.
