I installed ultimate seo urls , oscsid is appearing only on the first click but the problem is that when somebody enters the page and clicks on something it is showing him an error ( page not fund ) ; this is happening only on the first page if he clicks back and than tries again everything is ok . I tried to install the sid killers contribution but there are some codes there that i dont find ( in application top for example ) I tried everything i found on this forum but it is still the same . I dont understand what my be the problem I entered other sites and they have oscsid on the first page but if i click the page works !!! What can i do ? Thank you !! ♥Vger Posted October 16, 2008 Share Posted October 16, 2008 It is normal for the osCommerce session id to appear for a few page clicks and then disappear, if the computer of the visitor accepts a cookie from the website. If their PC is set not to accept cookies then the osCommerce session id will remain all of the time they are on the website. If you have installed Ultimate SEO URLs (I recommend v1.4 only) and you get a "Page not found" error when you click on one of the links then either the Base Directory is not set correctly in the .htaccess file or else the server your site is on does not support Mod Rewrite In the Apache configuration.
