JohnPlane Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Hi all, I have enabled 'Table Rate' as the shipping method in my shop, all works fine with the shipping calculations but..... When a customers order is passed to PayPal it is not transferring the shipping costs with the order. Before the order gets handed over to PayPal, the Order Confirmation page shows for example:- Sub-Total: £3.49 Table Rate (Best Way): £0.99 Total: £4.48 But it is only the £3.49 that is showing up on the PayPal bit once the customer presses the Confirm Order button. It's driving me mad...... what am I doing wrong :(
JohnPlane Posted October 15, 2008 Author Posted October 15, 2008 So has no one else had this problem?
♥Vger Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Have you got your Pay Pal account set up to handle shipping? If you have then no shipping charges from your website will be shown on the Pay Pal site - although the shipping charges set in your Pay Pal account will. What zone is Table Rate shipping set up for? If the order comes from outside of the zone then no shipping will be charged. That's why it's best to use World Zones and set up zones for your country, USA/Canada, Rest Of The World etc. Vger

Hi Vger, I don't have shipping charges enabled in PayPal so this shouldn't be the problem... should it? What zone is Table Rate shipping set up for? If the order comes from outside of the zone then no shipping will be charged. That's why it's best to use World Zones and set up zones for your country, USA/Canada, Rest Of The World etc. There is no shipping zone selected so it should be added to all orders.
