failsafe
download from the one server and upload them to the new server.Nic ... along with the rest of the osCommerce code of course, plus not forgetting to alter your catalog/includes/configure.php and catalog/admin/includes/configure.php to contain the settings for your new server. :)

failsafe
should i do it again Let's get this straight. Your images are NOT in your database, only their file names are there. To get the images themselves (i.e. all the .gif and .jpg image files with the actual pictures in) you will have to copy them from wherever you originally uploaded them to. If that is on a different server, then your best bet is to download them from your old server and then upload them to your new server, perhaps by using an FTP program. Your images are stored in the catalog/images directory, and its various sub directories. There will probably be subdirectories containing images for categories and manufactuers too.
