leonce Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 This morning, I was deleting a category located within a category on our site. For some reason, the deletion wiped out the entire database. No backups were created. Is there a way to restore a backup, or a phone number for tech support?
FIMBLE Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 There is no Tech support phone number for this forum, its opensource not a business. Your best bet would be to to try your hosts as they "should" make regular back ups. Then again so should you, but i guess you know that now. :- ( Nic Sometimes you're the dog and sometimes the lamp post [/url] My Contributions

THe weird thing is that the backup they have from yesterday is also blank. But when I was editing a product this morning in the oscommerce admin panel, the products were there...??? Strange.
Brian-Bear Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 there is a simple rule, backup on server, backup on local drive, without doing this it's like a famous Bonnie Tyler song..........?
